Password Requirements
A valid password must contain the following:
- At least 8 characters total
- At least 1 upper case letter
- At least 1 lower case letter
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 special character, but limited to these: # ? ! @ $ ^ & * - %
Resetting a Forgotten Password (cloud only)
- On the login window page, click on "Forgot Password?"
- Enter your email address.
- Check your inbox for an email with the subject "Alcatraz.ai Admin Portal - Reset password."

Changing a Password (cloud only)
If you are already logged into the Admin Portal and wish to change your password, do the following:
If you are an Account Administrator or Account Manager, you can send a "Password Reset" link to a user by going to their "Edit User" page in the Admin Portal.
- To change your own password in the Admin Portal, navigate to the upper right and click on your name.
- Select "Settings"
- Click on "Modify User"
- Click on "Send Password Reset Link"
- Click "Submit"
- Check your inbox for an email with the subject "Alcatraz.ai Admin Portal - Reset password."

Changing a Password (on-prem only)
If you are an Account Administrator or Account Manager, you can change the password of a user by going to their "Edit User" page under "Permissions >> Users" in the Admin Portal.
- To change your own password in the Admin Portal, navigate to the upper right and click on your name.
- Select "Settings"
- Click on "Modify User"
- Enter your "Current Password", new "Password", and "Confirm Password"
- Click "Submit"
