      Activating QR Code Functionality on the Rock

      To configure or reconfigure the Rock using a QR code, the QR Code Activation feature must be enabled.

      This feature allows the Rock to scan QR codes for network configuration or other settings adjustments. Follow the steps below to activate QR code functionality on the Rock.

      Steps to Activate QR Code Feature

      1. Navigate to Device Management and select Devices.
      2. Click on the Name of the Rock to access its information page.
      3. Click Modify to open the configuration settings.

      5. Scroll down to the Device Configuration section. Expand the Device Setup section by clicking on it.

      6. Toggle the switch to Activate QR Code.

      7. After enabling the feature, click Submit to save the changes

      8. After enabling the QR code feature, a QR code icon will appear on the Rock’s screen, indicating that the device is now ready to scan QR codes for configuration changes.

      What to Do If the QR Code Icon Is Not Displayed:

      If the QR code icon is not displayed and the Rock has been removed from the Admin Portal, you can perform a Factory Reset of the Rock. A factory reset will reset all settings and automatically enable the QR code reading functionality, allowing you to reconfigure the device using a QR code.
